Biography: Katie Hatchett, age 93, of Little Rock died August 27, 2007. She was born in Clinton, AR on December 16 to the late James W. and Jennie P. Hatchett. She is predeceased by her parents, and brother and sister-in-law Lindsey and Ella Hatchett. She is survived by her niece Margaret Hatchett, cousins Joe P. Davis, Dot Peel, Faye Hunnicutt, Marilyn Hatchett, and numerous other cousins and friends. Katie worked for the IRS for 25 years; served as office manager under four state attorney generals and two prosecuting attorneys. She was a life long Democrat and member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM at Roselawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Lindsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Presbyterian Village Foundation, 510 North Brookside Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Ave., Little Rock, AR 72205 or a charity of your choice.
