Biography: Sue Nell Hood, age 86, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 26, 2021. She was born in Union County, North Carolina in 1935 to Annie and William Bascum Rushing.
She is survived by her favorite son, Edwin Warren Ted “Teddy” Hood, her daughters, Patricia “Robin” LaBarre, Candy Sue Levy, Stormy Nell Hood-Swann, and Teddy Jeanne Hood. She also leaves two grandchildren, Jamie Michelle LaBarre-Ingrastia, Jarett Paul LaBarre, four great-grandchildren, and many additional family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Robert Avington Cortese.
She frequently said “Don’t put “miss” on my tombstone, because I have not missed nearly as much as you think I have.”
She will be forever loved and missed by many.
