The last time we saw Carmen she and her husband, Drew, were on their way to Springfield, Missouri for a concert. They stopped by on their way, and we spent an hour or so laughing and talking about all things cool. She was a pure and true delight to be around. Vibrant. Charming. Smart. We are heartbroken over this sad news. Sending love…

Mr. and Mrs. Bullard and Leah,
I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Carmen was a wonderful person-fun, bright and kind. While I knew her only when we were both much younger, I know that she became a wonderful mother and friend to many. May peace be with you all during this time.

Carmen was the nicest person to work with! Her love for her family and children was so evident in all she did. Never did she have a harsh word or any anger that showed in the 14 years I worked with her. She will truly be missed. RIP my dear, you fought the battle but God had a place for you to come home to and rest, no pain, no more struggles.
