We give heartfelt thanks for the life and love of Bill, while knowing of the deep fondness that Lynn, Britt and the grandchildren will cherish in their memory of their father and grandfather.
Given our 60-year friendship, there is a large book of things to write about Bill. I w ill pass them along in private conversations through mail and telephone.
Eleanor and I will see Bill and Kay some day on the far side of the Cross.

I followed Bill at Parkin, Arkansas high school. I was busy and lost track of what he was involved with. I must have known about the U. of Ark. Didn't know about the chemistry degree and the extensive flight action/experiences. All of this fits with my interactions with him and family when we worked and lived there. Just all round achievements and character. Bill, Thank you for your service(s).

A fine of a man as I have ever met, I already miss my buddy and the long talks and lunches we enjoyed. Humble, kind, caring and a constant witness of his strong faith, I smile thinking about him and how he so looked forward to being with Ms. Kay again. What a reunion to behold, I'm sure. To Lynn & family, my heart is broken and I know yours are, too. My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to you all. Godspeed, Red Hog, much love & respect for you and know you'll always be in our hearts.

It was so hard to believe Bill had died as I read the obituary this morning. Kay & Bill were part of my life for so many years. He’s with Kay now and for that reason I rejoice.for his Home going. Bill loved his family so much. I am praying that our Lord will surround you with comfort & strength in the days ahead.
With love,

So sorry to hear about Bill. He was a good friend and fellow pilot. We flew together in Vietnam on Hill 488 and assisted in the rescue of 19 Marines ( one of which was a Medal of Honor winner and the rest receiving Silver Stars and Navy Crosses.). Bill will be missed! God bless you and your family.

One of the best reasons to attend Razorback football games was the opportunity to see and visit with Bill and Kay at the pregame meal in the Razorback Club room at the stadium. And I must thank him again for the gift some years ago of the daily devotional book, Jesus Calling, Enjoying Peace in His Presence, by Sarah Young. It has made a major impact on my life and all my immediate family now have copies as well.
Rest in Jesus’ Peace as you are now in His Presence, dear Bill.
