Martha Jane Tyer, 93 of Little Rock, died March 13, 2021. She was born March 15, 1927, to George D. and Eliza Payne at Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
She married her late husband, Gordon Tyer on April 8, 1947.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail Gravett of Arkadelphia and Cheryl Brown of Wichita, Kansas; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Martha was a fifty-plus-year member of the Capt. Basil Gaither Chapter of the DAR, she served over twenty-five years doing volunteer work for Arkansas Children’s Hospital and was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Nicholas Verdaris officiating, followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 of Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
