Biography: Brian Howard Stebbins of Little Rock passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the age of 63. He was born June 26, 1957, to Charles Richard & Dolores Stebbins of Little Rock, who both preceded him in death.

Brian grew up in the Cloverdale neighborhood of Little Rock with his three brothers and graduated from McClellan High School in 1976. Following high school, Brian attended UALR and worked for Leisure Arts at its original headquarters location in Maumelle. It was there that he met his true love and future wife Pam Speaks and they married in 1983. Brian later worked at Democrat Printing & Lithograph and eventually founded Partners Men’s Clothing with good friend W.B. Loyd which was located at Pavilion in the Park.

In 1991, Brian and Pam were blessed with twins, Charles Garrett Stebbins & Katherine Dean Stebbins. As anyone with twins knows – life was never quite the same after Kate & Charles (Garrett) were born. But even with the adjustments and lack of sleep, Brian truly found his calling in being a wonderful Father to their twins – there was never a happier or more dedicated “Room Dad”, Scout Leader, Coach or shoulder to lean on than he was.

Brian is survived by his wife Pam and his two children, as well as his two brothers Charles Richard (Rick) Stebbins and his wife Donna of Phoenix, Arizona, and Robert Bruce Stebbins and his partner Mark Barr of Little Rock. His younger brother David Aaron Stebbins preceded him in death in 1991.

Brian will always be remembered as Uncle Brian by his seven nieces and one nephew: Laura Lindsey Stebbins of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anna Caroline Stebbins of Little Rock, Jennifer Dolores Stebbins Van Allen & her husband Robert of Shelton, Washington, Paige Speaks of Greenwood, Arkansas, Evelyn Ardell Green & her husband Marty of Poyen, Arkansas, Melissa Stebbins Winnie & her husband Casey of Tacoma, Washington, Trey and Mandy McGrew of Houston, Texas, as well as many other beloved relatives and friends.

A brief memorial service officiated by Dr. Jeffrey B. Hampton of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 West Markham Street in Little Rock followed by a visitation for family and friends. The family requests that memorials be made to Miss Selma’s School in Little Rock or a favorite charity. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, RuebelFuneralHome.com

I just read the news. I’m so sorry for your loss. Brian and I learned a lot about life growing up together (along with the Cloverdale gang!). What a friend, what memories. My deepest sympathy. Paul

Years of wonderful memories with Pam and Brian. To read about his love for Pam, I witnessed that. Had moved once they had children. Doesn’t surprise me that they committed their life to their children and then grandchildren. Sending love to Pam and her children, Brian’s brothers and nieces and nephews. You are missed!

I was terribly sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. Although I had not seen him in years, I have fond memories of our visits at Partners, which generally took place after him calling me to say “You need to come by the store. Something came in that looks like you.” And he was generally correct. Robert, if there is anything I can do for the family please do not hesitate to call on me. RIP, buddy.
