Ray and John Gordon, I was so sorry to hear of Patsy's passing. She and I taught together for several years at Magazine and I just thought the world of her. She encouraged so many people (including me) to aspire to more than they were -- she made a difference throughout her life. And that is a wonderful way to spend a lifetime and a legacy anyone would be proud to have.

Saying good-by to Patsy is akin to saying farewell to another sister. Reality is not in my heart yet and hardly in my mind. I still think I should phone her to discuss the latest news. I tell myself she is not gone but just out of sight. She is like a ship sailing to a distant port where a host of friends and family await her arrival with cheers and shouts of glee.

Dear Ray, I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Patsy. I would think of you often and wonder how both of you were doing. It hurts so much to lose someone that you love so much, she will be missed by many people who loved and admired her.
I pray that God will hold you close and give you comfort and that your memories will bring you peace. In God's Love,
