Biography: Molly Elizabeth (Hudson) Hudson, age 86 passed away in Little Rock, AR Friday, December 11, 2020. A graveside family memorial will be held on December 17, 2020, beginning at 1 p.m. at Naylor Memorial Cemetery in Naylor, MO.

Molly, one of eight children of Arley E. and Vernon Esther (Odom) Hudson, was born November 15, 1934, in rural Ripley County Missouri near Naylor, MO where she grew up on a farm and was educated.

While working in St Louis, MO she met and married Luther Ray Hudson. The couple moved to Bowling Green, MO in 1959 when Luther became the Station Agent for the Gulf Mobile and Ohio railroad at the depot in Bowling Green.

After giving birth to their only child, Molly remained at home during their son’s early years later returning to the workforce initially for the Bowling Green R-1 School District and later for Farmer’s Bank in Bowling Green. Molly would stay with the bank through multiple moves and changes in ownership rising from the position of teller to cashier prior to her retirement from US Bank.

She was an avid sports fan with a lifelong passion for the St Louis Cardinals. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, fishing, and helping raise her granddaughters.  Molly served as a Den Leader for the local Cub Scout pack.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Dennis Ray and Teresa Jo (Currant) Hudson of Little Rock. Grandchildren: Brittany Elizabeth Hudson-Walsh and Kevin Walsh of Kansas City, Rebecca Emmeline Hudson of Little Rock. Sisters: Carol Dobnikar of Birmingham, AL; Linda (Hudson) Greer and Steve Greer, O’Fallon, MO. Brothers: Donald Ray Hudson and Gloria Hudson of St Louis; Gerald Hudson, Fairdealing, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.

Molly was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Arley Hudson Jr , Bobbie Choate, and Rose (Hudson) Hurley.
