Biography: Dorine "Dodie” Neil Henry,84, of Little Rock, was called home by Our Father on December 11th. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 7th, 1936 to Ethel and Carl Neil.

On September 26th, 1953, after a courtship of only two weeks, she married the love of her life Donald “Bobo” Henry. They had four children Debbie, Donnie, Diane, and David.

She loved. That is how those who knew her best would describe Dorine. She loved being a sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was the first one to tell a joke and even in her last days, she was always finding a way to make doctors, nurses or anyone around her laugh. She was an incredibly talented artist and cook. In 1980, she opened Casey’s Bar-B-Que with Diane and David by her side. Her husband Don would later join them. Dorine loved being around people, her home was host to every family gathering whether for an Easter egg hunt, Christmas morning, or family visiting from Ohio. You would often find her at the kitchen table playing cards with her children and grandchildren. Dorine was known for pouring into every one of her grandchildren teaching them to cook, how to paint, how to play cards, and how to love others well.

Her legacy will continue on through her surviving children Diane Williamson and David, son-in-law Robert Johns, sister-in-law Jeanette; grandchildren: Jennifer, Jessica(Tyler), Judith(Tyler), Lauren(Philip), Angela, Lindsey, Landon, Mary, and Johnny;8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Carl; her children Debbie Henry Johns and Donnie; her son-in-law Rodney Williamson, her sisters Nancy, Shirley and brother James; and her husband Don.

Join the family in celebrating her life. A viewing will be at Ruebel Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 15th, 2020 from 1 to 4 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dear Henry family,
Gratitude for a 50 year old friendship such as ours just cannot be summarized with a printed message. We shared with each other many accomplishments of all of our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; it has been a great friendship journey. Dodie was so proud of each of you, and always wanted the best for you.
Covid risk and health issues keep me from your family gathering to honor Dorine. I love you all. Anita
