Nancy, we want to express our condolences to you and your family in your loss. Marlene worked with him several years ago as a nurse in the Pediatric clinic, which was one of the oldest in the state of Arkansas, if not THE oldest. It was a very select group of doctors and she felt honored to be one of their nurses. Our prayers are with you and your children at this time and are for your comfort and strength to go forward with your lives as he would have wanted you to do. Our best,
Draxie Rogers

Dearest Nancy, Mark and Craig, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know Tom's illness has been hard on all of you. Our entire family hurts for you and are saddened knowing Tom is no longer here. You all are a very happy part of our history and the times we've shared are treasured. Each of you has been very special to us and I regret we haven't been in touch more the past few years. The Halloweens, Christmases, birthdays and just fun get-togethers will always be remembered as good times. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nancy, Mark and Craig,
We are saddened to learn of Dr. Smith's passing.
He was always such a kind and gentle man to our family, even when Tracy, at 9 years of age, took it upon herself when we were out of town to call him at home to ask him about a medical question concerning herself, and another time when her Golden Retriever was lost and ended up at your house! He always had such a pleasant smile when we saw him. Although we hadn't seen him in some time, he will always remain as a "special" person we are happy to have known. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
Love,
Carolyn, Jim, and Tracy Manning

Dr. Smith (he'll always be "Tommy" to me) and I were very good friends in junior high, high school, and at Hendrix--we were in the same grade and had a lot of classes together. After Hendrix, our further studies and careers took us in very different directions and our paths rarely crossed. Nevertheless, I was well aware of his many contributions to the medical community in Little Rock. I am very sad to learn of his death and will miss him, even as I continue to enjoy memories of great times together in Conway in our youth. Jerry Robbins
