Biography: Suzanne Hamilton Webre, age 73, of Little Rock, died Thursday, July 5, 2007. She was born October 2, 1933 and lived in Fort Smith, LaJolla, California and Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her father Barrett Hamilton, Sr., mother Josephine Hamilton, daughter Posey Webre, and brother Bart Hamilton. She is survived by her children; Mark and Nancy Webre, Peter Webre, Luke and Theresa Webre, Matthew and Melanie Webre, Andrew and Sarah Webre, her grandchildren Peter and Towner Webre, Claire and Amy Webre, Camille Webre, all of Little Rock, Alexander and Morgan Webre of New Braunfels, Texas, a sister Sally Stout of Santa Barbara, California, nephew Carter Crary of Malibu, California and niece Sarah Stout of San Francisco, California. Suzanne was a graduate of Hockaday School in Dallas and attended Finch Junior College in New York City. She also attended the University of Texas in Austin. She was a member of the Junior League of Little Rock, the Country Club of Little Rock, and life member of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary. She loved the theatre and all sports and was very active in politics. She was particularly proud of being on the staff of Governor Clinton and serving as press secretary for the reelection of Jimmy Carter.
