Thank you for sending me this notice. It's been nudging me to call you the last couple of days, now we know why. I'm so sorry. I still fondly remember our "mad" scientist days in Bethesda. Was it your frog or Deed's that I squashed?
We always had fun together playing impossible older sisters to his little brother, but play we did constantly and with fun and with as much hilarity as tears.

May you find peace and comfort in your memories.

Love to you all, Brenda

I had the pleasure of taking care of Deed and was saddened when he passed. I'd gotten to know him over the past month so he will always have a special place in my heart. He was a kind, intelligent, encouraging, compassionate and hilarious man. He would give me elbow bumps whenever we or I accomplished tasks. Everyone that cared for him has a Deed memory or story they won't long forget. I last saw him the Sunday before he passed and wanted to let you know that he was in good spirits. He was happy that you all were glad to hear from him and got a chance to speak with you. I hope that you find peace in knowing this and how much his UAMS family cared for him. I will always remember him and think about him every September 11th. My heart and prayers go out to you all. May he rest in peace.
