Biography: Patricia Mignon (George) Glover was called home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2020.

Mrs. Glover was born on March 7, 1928 in Water Valley, Mississippi to Bunie and Virgil George.  She met the love of her life, Ross Madison Glover, in Memphis, Tennessee, while Mr. Glover was stationed at Millington Naval Base, north of Memphis.  They met at the Officer’s Club doing what they did best, dancing.  They married in Hernandez, Mississippi on August 6, 1946. During their 55 years of marriage, they danced all over the USA, including the Balboa Naval Base in San Diego, California, the Oahu Naval Base in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Kodiak Naval Operating Base in Kodiak, Alaska.  Mr. Glover went to Heaven on February 15, 2001.  He has been waiting on his dancing partner ever since.  We know they are twirling all over the dance floor in Heaven now.

Family was everything to Mrs. Glover.  Nothing made her more proud than being with family, and celebrating her loved ones.  She is survived by her three children; Ross Douglas Glover and his wife, Debbie; Janet Glover Davis and her husband, Glenn; and Stacy Mignon Glover, and her dog, Watson.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Warren Davis and his wife, Allison; Katherine Mentzer and her husband, Drew; Shannon Bailey and her husband, Erik; Alicia Glover Robertson, Wendi Burton Atkin, and Sean Glasco.  Nothing made her happier than spending time with her great-grandchildren: Thomas, Hannah and Charley Anne Mentzer; Pierce, Berkley, and Tanner Davis; Miles and Aubrey Bailey; Parker and John David Robertson; Amber and Austin Atkin; and Hallie and Maggie Glasco.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Virgil George, Jr., her Aunt Gracie, and her partner in crime, her cousin, Geneva Willman.

Funeral services will take place at Ruebel Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. The service can be viewed live on the Ruebel Funeral Home YouTube page.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.  Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

Stacy and family, your mother was so sweet and we sure enjoyed playing poker with her. She certainly could keep a good poker face.
We will certainly miss her and her sweet demeanor.

Janet, Ross and Stacy,
Your mom was the sweetest thing!
And she was so patient when you and your friends got into innocent “trouble”. I think she kinda liked it because you could see that hint of her own mischief in her sweet smile.
Bless you and your family for the loss of your mom.
Talk to her often. She will be watching over you.
