Biography: George Hornor Jeffries, age 53, of Little Rock, died Monday November 21, 2005. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado the son of the late Charles Cole Jeffries and his mother Edwynne Morris Hornor who lives in Little Rock. George was a graduate of Helena Central High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was a manager for the Helena Marine Service and worked for the Arkansas River Company. He was also a great fan of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. George is survived by his mother mentioned above, 2 brothers; E. Curtis Jeffries wife Pat their 2 children Chase and Marly of Little Rock, and C. Cole Jeffries wife Michele their 3 children Courtney, Carolyn and Brian of Tampa, Florida. There will be a memorial funeral service, today, Wednesday November 23rd, at 2pm at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church officiated by The Reverend Rocki Proffitt.
