Biography: Patricia Ann Smith June, 84, of Maumelle, Arkansas, returned to her heavenly home on April 17, 2020. Pat, as she was lovingly called, was the third child born to the late Fremont and Edna Smith in Dowagiac, Michigan.
She was a proud tribal member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and enjoyed keeping up with the latest tribal news.
Pat married the love of her life Glenn Joseph June on August 26, 1966. They traveled across the US for many years before making Arkansas their permanent residence. Once in Arkansas, Pat became the book keeper for her husband’s landscape business. The couple was happily married for 33 years.
Pat was blessed with two beautiful daughters on earth and six angel babies, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Faith and family were the foundation of her life. She will be remembered for always praying over others and her strong dedication to the Lord. Pat exuded joy in being able to provide for her family, never counting the cost to herself, and being able to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is dearly missed by her loved ones but they rejoice knowing that she is celebrating with Jesus and reunited with her beloved husband, children, and friends that went before her.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband Glenn June, daughter Debra Mckinley, her parents, brother, Donald Smith, and sister, Betty Gravit. Pat is survived by her daughter, Susan June Castleman; Her grandchildren Jessica Herpin (Nathan), Kristin Kellar (Tyler), Sara Nails (Jared), Jacob Chapman and Carsyn Castleman; Her great-grandchildren Camille, Tate, Bowen and Wyatt Herpin, Olivia and Jax Kellar and Silver Nails; along with extended family and friends.
Pat will be buried with her husband at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock in a private family ceremony. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Pat will be available for viewing from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Ruebel Funeral Home in Little Rock.

Your mother was one of my mother's dearest and long-loved friends. She loved your mother and father and enjoyed being a part of their lives. One of mom and dad's favorite trips was visiting the Hawaiian islands together with your parents. Such great memories! Your mother was one of the prayer warriors who met with mom and other women every other Saturday morning at mom's house for over 30 years. I know they moved God's heart and hands in many ways on behalf of many people through their prayers. Your mother was not only a faithful prayer warrior and friend, she was also a great mother and grandmother. She loved you all so much....and demonstrated her love every day in her words and deeds. We were blessed to have all these years together with her and will miss her presence in our lives. Looking forward to the day we can all be together again in heaven with Jesus! Sending you all lots of love from the Amrine family
