Dear Carolyn and Family - Bobby and I were so sorry to hear of Charlie's death. He was the first attorney I worked with at the Rose Law Firm and he was so kind and considerate. My whole family loved playing softball with the firm against other firms around the city, and Charlie was always there supporting and playing in the games. We enjoyed getting to know him better through softball season - though fun it was also serious at times. We also enjoyed running into you and Charlie at The Faded Rose on many occasions at lunchtime where we would catch up with family news. We will truly miss Charlie and want you to know that all who care for you are surrounding you with love.
With Heartfelt Sympathy,
Linda and Bobby Ring

Charlie was the most unique, intelligent, kind, fun loving, loyal friend. He had the uncanny ability to make people feel special to him, and to feel joyful.
Knowing and loving Charlie and Carolyn and making memories with them over the years has been one of the true blessings in our lives. We shall always miss and be lonely for him. And his beautiful smile and kind heart.

You are our hero.
We love you Charlie.

Dear Carolyn and family,
Charlie will be missed by everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him when he served on the UAPTC Foundation Board - he helped to make the Culinary Institute a reality! I loved his “clever and thoughtful opening stories” at our meetings. He, most of all, was a gentleman and a friend. My thoughts will remain with you. Fondly, Marsha

Dear Carolyn, Nikki, and Charles
We are so sorry for the loss of this special
person. Charlie will be so missed. He loved you
all dearly. We loved him. A trusted advisor and
most precious friend. Oh Charlie— so smart, yet
humble; your playful humor; the twinkle in your eyes;
your faith and caring about others— you will always be in our hearts.

Dearest Carolyn, Nikki, & Charlie, Jr. , My family has so many great memories of Charlie. Not only professionally but personally. Fun times cooking together. He was our tax attorney and he was Edwin’s patient for many years. I remember him dressing like Johnny Cash. Always a gentleman with an infectious smile. Over the past few years Whitney and I would see him at The Faded Rose eating lunch. Always the gentleman always gracious. He absolutely adored his family. I will never forget the time he came to visit my own father in his last days. He was such a gentle soul. My family is blessed to have known him and have him as a friend. Sleep sweet Charlie. God bless.
