Biography: Danny Craig Tipton, 64, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. Danny was born on February 23, 1955 in Berryville, AR to Joe Tipton and Lorene (Bean) Tipton. He was a graduate of Green Forrest High School and went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Central Arkansas. Danny sold insurance for 32 years before retiring in 2016.

Danny’s early passion in life was running. His proudest accomplishments included running five marathons, one of which was Pike’s Peak, which he bragged about regularly. He also had a great passion for cooking, feeding many friends and family, and always making sure everyone “had enough to eat”.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents Joe Tipton and Lorene (Bean) Tipton and brother Joe Ray Tipton. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Betty Tipton, kids; Jason Tipton, Jennifer Linck, and Kalli Custer (Jordan) and grandkids, McKinley Tipton Custer and Beau Taylor Campbell. He also had one step-daughter, Sharla Varmer and two grand-daughters, Haley Varmer of Little Rock, and Kate Katindig of Houston, TX. As well as four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at Ruebel Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 10AM. An interment service will follow at Snow Cemetery in Berryville, AR scheduled for 3PM.

I first met Danny at 10 Fitness where we would work out together and talk about our families and life experiences. Always enjoyed talking to him and seeing his smiling face walk in the door. May god give you comfort in his love.

Betty and ENTIRE Family: John and I are so saddened by Danny's death. We loved Danny so! He was our brother, in every sense of the word! We will truly miss his great laugh and I KNOW I will miss all the SHARON JEAN comments! He was ONE -OF-A-KIND....AND WILL BE MISSED BY ALL! I am do heartbroken to have heard of his passing. I was a classmate of his and thought of him so often and would of loved to have seen him. Danny was a great guy in school and I loved him with all my heart. I so regret not getting one of his bear hugs. RIP my friend I loved you so!
