How humbled I was to have been able to get to know Phyllis in the past couple of years. Loved taking her St. Margaret's and worship with her...and to be with her during many Evening Prayer services at Fox Ridge. What a gracious, lovely, quietly spiritual lady! Prayers of comfort for all who knew and loved her.
Am so sorry that I will be out of town for her service.

Dear Philip, Alex and Family - along with our entire journalistic world,

Phyllis was a one-of-a-kind wonderful person and journalist with a TRULY unique nose for where the news and media world was GOING - not just where it was at the moment. WHAT a talent and inspiration!

We shared Rotary Club 99, LOTS of fun fashion and community events with Phyllis and her inimitable smile of warmth, joy and insight.

The Lord bless and keep you as we ALL miss her deeply.

Philip and Alex, your Mom was such a delight to be around. Don’t think I ever saw her when she wasn’t smiling. Thinking of
her brings back a lot of fond memories. So sorry for your loss.

Philip and Alex, your mom was an amazing and remarkable woman. She was a dear and cherished friend to me since we were freshmen at Holcomb Hall at the U of A. My life was enriched by her friendship. The world is a poorer place without her.

You are in my thoughts and prayers .
