I found Kelly's obituary just by chance - cannot believe she is no longer with us. Kelly cut my hair for nearly 40 years first in her basement shop, then the new one in the old church building. Never found anyone who could do a better job. I am absolutely shocked to find her obituary, and sad for her family. My sympathies to all who knew and loved her.

I haven't seen or talked to Kelly in years but she was such a HUGE part of my childhood that I can't help but wipe away the tears as I write this. What a feisty, fun loving girl she was!! Jennifer, I am so very sorry for your loss!! I think of riding my Banana Seat Bike down to your house for Barbie Dolls and Tea Parties and how Kelly would barge right into your room and take over the entire show, sometimes to your screams of protest but most of the time it was all fun and laughter! Those 10 pm Summer games of "Kick the Can" will forever be embedded in my mind!! Linda, I really don't know how you put up with us!! I just want to say "Thank You, Kelly! My life would have been so different without you in it. You touched a lot of people and I am so glad I was one of them!!
Linda and Jennifer, my heart goes out to you. I'm sending love and prayers your way!! RIP my sweet childhood friend!!!!

Lisa and I have been friends with Kelly for many, many years and will miss her. Her passion for life, her pets and her family was inspiring. She had a keen wit and you always knew where you stood with her. Whenever we were with her there were many laughs and always good conversation. Rest In Peace dear Kelly!

Damn. I had a joke to tell Kelly. It was horrible and she would have liked it. We'll miss you, Kelly!

Kelly will be missed so dearly! I’ve gone to her for over 25 years. And as others have mentioned, our conversations were so fantastic. And her laugh! She had the BEST laugh! I will miss you dearly. My heart goes out to all her friends and family.

I had the pleasure of Kelly's company every third Friday of each month for 35 years. The stories we shared about our lives and politics are too numerous to mention. Her love for my family had no boundaries. I will miss her always , but for sure on every third Friday of the month. My deepest regrets to her family.

We have known and loved Kelly for over 30 years. She had the best sense of humor, feisty as all get out and a great cook. We traded cheese bread for pepper mix over the years. She cut our hair right before her doctor's appointment. No one ever did as good a job on our hair as she did - she was gifted in many ways and a lot of us loved her. She will really be missed. All of Kelly’s family, by birth or by choice, will miss this beautiful, strong, funny woman. Like so many, I saw her in her shop for over 30 years. There was no one else for all of us. Peace, Kelly.

I started with Kelly when she first began cutting hair. I moved to Heber 23 years ago and continued driving once a month for my cut for many years. We shared a lot of laughs and political discussions. She found a dog behind the shop that would become my dad's dog for 14 years. She was just lovely and will he greatly missed. Prayers for Kelly and her entire family

I haven’t seen in a while but i will say cutting my hair was secondary to the deep, philosophical and fun discussions we always had. I will miss you Kelly. Rest well.

Kelly and I have known each other for decades. I haven't seen her for years. She will be missed. If anyone knows anything about her dog, Luther, I will take him if he does not have a home to go to. I can be found online, Lake Ouachita Vacation Realty. Thank you, Sami Grace

Though she was little she was fierce in her love of animals, social justice, and human rights. She was the most politically astute person I ever knew. And could she LAUGH!!! Her laugh will be in every remembrance I have of her.

Love you always, Kelly!

Kelly has been a strong force for as long as I have known her. She was so good at cutting hair that I would drive from Memphis for a hair cut. My thoughts and prayers are with you Linda and Jennifer. RIP Kelly.

Kelly, You were truly one-of-a-kind. I am not sure which of the Heizmans loved you more!
We are thankful to have been in your life and to have had you in ours.
I am imagining you with John and Mike and Bob D. and finding great comfort in that.
Linda and Jennifer, we are holding you and your family in our hearts.
I learned a lot from knowing Kelly. Boundaries. The word "no". But even more, her enormous capacity to love and rescue animals of all sorts. She rescued many-some with four legs, but some with two also! Kelly Marlowe, love you always. I will miss you. Leslie

Feisty lady. Lived life on her own terms. She usually had a well-reasoned opinion on things of importance and was not shy about expressing said opinion. She cut my hair for the entire time she had her shop and I will greatly miss our every-three-week conversations. Rest In Peace, kind, wise Kelly.
