Biography:
John Greene McCoy passed from this earth on Monday, December 9th at his home in Little Rock at the age of 73. John was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Evelyn McCoy, his sister Meredith, his nephew Garrett Slaughter, and his brother Travis.
John was a graduate of Little Rock Hall High School in 1964. John joined the Marine Corp Reserve in 1967 and he served in Vietnam in 1968 where he was wounded in combat.
John married Joelybelle (Belle) in 2009, and they recently celebrated their 10th anniversary. John had many good friends and was considered by all as a loyal, dedicated friend and mentor to many over the years. He was also a good friend of Bill W.
There will be a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Ave., in Little Rock on Thursday December 12th at 10:00 am, with a time of viewing from 9:30 am until the time of the service.

He was wounded in combat the same year I was born. Thankyou for your brave service for the United States. That was a dangerous time in the workd- and you still rose up and risked your life. God Bless him.
