I was so sorry to see that Linda lost her battle. She had a true testimony to all who knew her, and she will be missed very much. I graduated DeQueen High School with her, and visited with her last fall at our 50th reunion. She was a lovely lady and we all loved her. Our deepest sympathies to all of her family.

Art, Leslie and Girls,
Linda was a dear friend ,our Maid of Honor at our wedding 48 years ago. She was a woman of faith, always strong and unshakeable! She was ready for whatever happened! Her last email on 4-10-07 ended with "Yet will I delight in the Lord".

We loved her and will miss her but look forward to our real reunion!

Linda and I worked together at the Board of Nursing for many years. We traveled together on business and became good friends over the years. Nursing has lost a champion. She dearly loved her family and especially Kirby and Chaney. We will all miss her very much.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your love one. When unforeseen occurrences befall us and the enemy death strikes our grief can be great. It may even seem unfair that sickness, which can cause death, has the power to take away someone that we love. It is truly at times like this that we need comfort and support whether we are acquainted or not. May you find comfort in Almighty God's word the Bible, and His promises of the 'resurrection': "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." At that time, the fulfillment of Revelation 21: 1-5 will take place: ‘and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away’. What a wonderful time that will be! Isn’t it comforting to know that you and I have the prospects of seeing our love ones again under the best condition possible, a beautiful Paradise earth; God's original purpose for mankind. All of God's promises will come true, for it is impossible for God to lie. In order for us to believe in these promises, we have to be certain that the one making the promise is both willing and able to fulfill them. The Bible scriptures do just that. Please look up the cited scriptures in your personal copy of the Bible. Once again, you have my sincere condolences.-John 5: 28 & 29, Psalms 37:29, Luke 23: 43, Hebrews 6:18.

Our Hearts go out to all of you during this time of loss. Both Joe and I have lost a good friend. But we have the consolation of knowing we will see her one day in heaven. During her illness I became nostalgic for the fun times Linda and I have had together. She came down with Billie, on one of her geneology hunts and spent a night or two with us. We made a great trip to Branson together; along with Melba Tatom and Billie. There are just so many wonderful memories. She has given me Godly counsel when I needed it. I also admired her Spirit of giving to others. She was always doing something for someone else. There will be many stars in her crown that she can lay at the feet of Jesus.I'm sorry that I couldn't be at the funeral. Sickness comes at the most precarious times. But know I will be there in my heart. I looked at pictures of Linda and said goodbye many days ago ; as that was all I could do. But one day I'll say hello again. Art, Leslie and the rest of the family....Linda was very special to me and Joe. Our prayers are with you and know that we love you as well.
