Bob was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin on February 28, 1962. He graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1980. During this time Bob’s love of radio grew and he often spent time at the local radio station learning the ropes. Bob was actively involved in Jonny’s fishing clubs both in high school and college and every time Jonny was on the water you knew that Bob and Joy were close by.

I met Bobby when I was in college with his sister, Jane. He was such a happy kid - always smiling when I saw him. He sure loved radio! Such a terrible loss. My heart goes out to the entire family ❤️.

My heart aches for my sister Joy and my nephew Jonny. This is a devistating loss and it's hard to convey in words my condolences. Bob adored Joy and his son Jonny. Those two were the enter of his world and he was the center of theirs. A love like that surpasses time and survives beyond it. Bobby may not physically be here with us now but his love and enervgy does live on in the hearts of all those that loved him. Especially his beloved wife Joy and his treasured son Jonny. I pray for peace on your hearts.

It is sad to find out that a fine man has passed so early in his life. I had brief encounters with Bob, his wife Joy is my niece. On one occasion with Bob, I remember him for one thing that impressed me with his knowledge. Being an electrical engineer myself, he had employed a new two-way radio technology that was just becoming known that enabled business office employees to communicate with field workers at a press of a "talk button" on the radio. It made instant communications for the thriving new business. That earned Bob much respect for him within the company. It certainly impressed me of his ability on the job. Bob, enjoy your eternal life in heaven. There are many that miss you on earth. Love, Uncle Greg and Mary Ann Stehling
