Biography: Catherine Roberson Marks, 68, died Friday, August 2, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, following a long battle with cancer.
Cathy was born to Ernest and Ann Roberson in El Dorado, Arkansas, on December 21, 1950. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1968. Following her marriage to Thomas William Marks (deceased), she moved to Little Rock. She worked for over thirty years as an accountant for Sysco Foods. While working, Cathy was determined to earn her college degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She had nearly reached her goal when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2007.
Cathy is survived by her son, Derek Marks, and his wife Kathleen Marks; her son, Bradford Marks, and his wife, Kelli Marks; and her two beloved grandchildren, Madelyn and Benjamin Marks.
Special thanks to Dr. Brad Baltz and Dr. Ryan Hall for caring for Mrs. Marks throughout her fight with cancer.
Visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, from 5-7 PM. A private burial will follow.
