I met Lee in January 1982. He did everything in his power to help me and welcome me to work and Little Rock. He was “that guy” everyone knew and loved. Lee was truly one of the good guys and it is my honor to call him a friend.

Lee was always so kind to our family. When my girls were little, he would find out from us what they were getting on Christmas and would call Christmas morning pretending to be Santa and asked them how they liked their gifts. He would mention specific items and they were just amazed! We almost always talk about during the holidays, a very special memory for sure. Prayers to the family.

Rest in peace, Lee... I believe you will... We spent 16 years together in classes at Jefferson, Forest Heights, and Hendrix. Many of us could always count on you as a friend... Your raised eyebrow, slightly cocked head, and cheeky smile at something someone said always made me laugh. - Steve

Lee was a great guy and was friends to many. I am pretty sure there wasn't a soul in LR that didn't know him. I had the privilege of working with him for 20 plus years. He was very knowledgeable about the stock market, and I always went to him for stock questions. He was extremely attentive, and he always knew if I moved something on his desk when he wasn't there{it was freaky). The office will not be the same without him. I remember several times, he would stay at work late so I would not be working alone at night (just like an overprotective father figure). He really cared about his co-workers, and his clients loved him dearly . I will always remember him as the "big guy" who towered 1.5 feet above me. I can picture his neatly pressed dress shirt and suit and burgundy shoes with the tassels that he wore to work before he lost his leg. With those long legs, it took him about 3 steps to walk down the hallway! I also loved how he would call my children at Christmas, and act like he was Santa. Lee was very thoughtful, and I am a better person for having known him. Rest in Love, Lee!

So sorry to hear about Lee. I was glad to see Gary got to visit him last week and know it meant a lot to both of them. Last time I saw him, he was enjoying something he and I really liked - watching the ponies run at Oaklawn. Prayers for Bobby and the rest of the family. You know we count Lee and you as part of our family. God bless.

Lee Bolls - words are not enough to express the wonderful man he was - a good man, a great friend, who had an impact on many lives! He will be missed by his family and his friends. So many memories ...... I hope everyone will share a memory. I will never forget how he came to my rescue back in December of 1984. We were living in LR, but Rob had taken his job with Flanagan Instruments in Louisiana and was there during the week. I remember that December being one of the worst with ice and snow. When one storm came in - unexpectedly, I found myself home with Melissa and Robert - wishing I had gone to the grocery the day before and needing to get a prescription for Robert - another ear infection. Rob called Lee and asked if he could help. Within a couple of hours Lee was at my door (he had chains on his tires) with bags of groceries and the prescription. I will never forget that. That's just one of many acts of kindness from Lee Bolls! Love and prayers for Lee and for all who are missing him.

Lee was a very dear friend for a long, long time. I would always see him at Cajun's Wharf on Thursday evenings and we would share some popcorn shrimp. Whether it was enjoying music, tailgating at War Memorial, cheering for the Hogs or Trogans, or in Tux at Mistletoe Madness, his bright wit, warm smile and hugs will be missed.
