Condolences and deepest sympathy to Nancy and the family.

We loved his sweet spirit and warm hugs at church. He always expressed how much he enjoyed the choir and our music, and we enjoyed the choir's trip to his home to sing after his attendance at church became limited. Prayers for Nancy!

Nancy,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of my friend and favorite 3rd basemen, he and his Minnie MiƱoso glove played a well defensed 3rd base.
He will certainly be missed by the multitudes of people that were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him and called him "friend".
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Jack was such a warm positive person. He always had a zest for life and never failed to compliment the entire staff where I worked for all they did whenever he visited. My favorite memory though is sitting in church pew behind Jack & Nancy during a beautiful song- he squeezed her hand and told her he loved her.

We loved Jack and always enjoyed our visits with him. He was smart, politically savvy, and always had a good joke to brighten the day. It was hard to stay a stranger to Jack if you attended Trinity Presbyterian Church since he was so friendly and welcoming. We're confident there was a big slice of lemon icebox pie waiting for him in Heaven!

Just a note to help honor Jack's life by saying he was a blessing to me personally and to so many others. With his kind, gentle respectful spirit he loved his wife, family, church, and country. He was a great man, patriot, and follower of Jesus. He went peacefully to the Lord on Sunday morning from his home, just as he wished, but we'll always remember and miss Jack!

Jack was such a sweet man and a true gentleman. The first time I visited Trinity Presbyterian Church in 2016, I sat in the back. My next visit and from that time forward, I am near the front on the left. That happened to be a couple of pews behind Jack and Nancy. He was the first person to come introduce himself and welcome me and quickly wanted to introduce me to his wife. As long as Jack was able to come to church, he greeted me with a smile and a warm hug. It has been my pleasure knowing Jack, and we will all miss his smile and sweet sense of humor. Our prayers are now with Nancy.

My sympathies to the Evans family. I met Jack almost 38 years ago when I began my career in the pharmaceutical business. Jack was the consummate professional and a fine man. I enjoyed having occasional lunches with him when time permitted and recall having dinner with him on some overnight stays when we would both be in DeQueen. After his retirement, it was always a pleasure when I would run into him and have a visit. Once again, a fine man.

My deepest sympathy to Jack's family!

Jack was one of the first drug reps I ever had the pleasure of getting to know. His territory included the South Arkansas and El Dorado area. In those days there was one rep and he knew everything about his company's products. Those were the days! Jack was incredibly funny and I know he will be missed by all who knew him!
