Biography: Thomas (Tommy or T-Byrd) Edison Vilches, Jr., of Little Rock, Arkansas, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones on March 23, 2019 at CHI St. Vincent, North. Tommy is the son of the late Patricia Ann Wyland Byrd and Chester O? Neal Byrd of Daingerfield, Texas, and Thomas E. Vilches, Sr., of Star City, Arkansas.Tommy moved from Daingerfield, Texas in 2015 to Little Rock to be near his sisters. Tommy was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on April 6, 1957 and was raised in Daingerfield. He was a very skilled heavy equipment operator and was previously employed with Johns Iron and Metal, Inc., in Hughes Springs. You could often find him fishing or in the outdoors. Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved, Dawn Knuckols. He is survived by sisters Kathleen A. Dudley and Cynthia M. Lumpkin Lewis, brothers-in-law Gene R. Dudley and D. Evan Lewis; nephews, Phillip A. (Aaron) Lafferty and Benjamin G. Lumpkin; niece, Kaitlyn M. Lewis and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.Special thanks to the doctors and staff of CHI St. Vincent Infirmary and CHI St. Vincent, North.A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Daingerfield, Texas.
