Biography: Arthur Russell passed away on February 10, 2019. He was born on December 23, 1927 in Hot Springs, AR, and was a lifelong resident. He served the U.S. Army in occupied Japan, and was a plumber and pipe-fitter. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and music in Mt. View. He was a member of the Airport Road Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blake and Josie Gore Russell and his brother Sam Russell. He is survived by his wife, Earlene, daughters Sharon Johnson(Rick), and Judy Leeker(Don), and stepdaughters, Lou Ann Ratliff (David), Linda Upchurch(Ed), and Karen Abercrombie(Mark) and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Airport Road Church of Christ in Hot Springs on Saturday, February 23 at 1p.m. His ashes will be interred at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the German Mission Fund at Levi Church of Christ, North Little Rock.
