So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: ?Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Mrs. Cooner was one of my favorite teachers at the Cathedral School over 50 years ago! I remember her being a great teacher but also she was fun and she had such style - she always wore a beautiful gold charm bracelet. I looked up to her and enjoyed seeing her at church and in the community over the years. My sincere sympathy to you all.

To the family, please accept my condolences for the passing of your dear loved one Mrs. Cooner. Words fail to express the pain of losing a loved one. Know that others care. Most important God cares. He is ?the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.? (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May God strengthen and comfort you during this time.

Dear Walter, Joe, and Leslie,

We are so sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was an exceptional woman. We knew her from all those years ago when you were boys, and again when she was a teacher for our kids at Cathedral. We are so grateful for her life and the blessings she bestowed on others.

Joel, Les, Walt and families, I?m saddened to hear the news of the passing of your lovely Mom. She was such a cool, classy lady. She was a great loyal friend to my Mom, especially in the later years.

And unlike typical ?Moms of my friends,? I considered her to be a real personal friend of mine. She would not let me call her Mrs. Cooner, so I called her Miss Joanne. Not often, but occasionally I would stop by and visit with her. The world is a much better place because of Miss Joanne.

Sincerely, Dan Daugherty
