So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

I worked with Charles during my early first tenure at Cromwell. For his calm demeanor, he was hilariously funny. But he was a great teacher as well. He was always willing to spend genuine time with others. Prayers of comfort for the families.

I am extremely saddened to hear this news. I hadn't seen Charles in many years but always remembered how funny and encouraging he was to a young man at Cromwell. He will be missed. There are few like him.

To the Batson family, please accept sincere condolences to all during this time of grief. We all feel the pain and emptiness of heart when those we love are taken away from us by the enemy death.(1Corinthians 15:26) Soon our loving Creator will remove all the pain, suffering and death forever. (Revelation 21:4) And give the opportunity for life on a paradise earth. (John 5:28 & 29; Psalm 37:29)

Gayle & Family, I'm very sorry to hear about Charles passing away and my deepest condolences. It?s now 25 years now since I was a partner at his engineering firm and those were some of the most enjoyable years in my engineering career ? thanks to the professionalism and personality of this man named Charles Batson. Charles was always on top of the engineering work we all did, and his sense of humor was always just waiting to break in to any situation and get us all smiling and laughing. I still have and value my copies of his always humorous Batson Gazette (or The Bag) that he periodically published back in the day. Charles, you will be missed.

The passing of Charles was a total shock to his numerous friends and colleagues. I have known and worked with Charles for more years than I can count, and really loved his professionalism, kind nature and dry wit. Charles was truly a man of character and integrity.
