Mr. Roy was the most wonderful Southern Gentleman. Just to be in his presence was heart warming. Is was such a pleasure when tending to his insurance needs and changes during my 30 years in the business.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
I'm sure he brought joy and happiness to all those whom were fortunate enough to have known him.
May he forever rest in peace.

To the Smith Family
We are sorry to hear about the passing of Roy H Smith. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. Please find encouragement from this promise from God where He assures us that our love ones will live again.( John 5:28-29) Yes this promise serves as a personal guarantee from God that Roy, and billions of others will live again. There are nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this grand arrangement. Here is just one such example recorded at John 11:32-44. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Yes God does not lie.

Roy, I always enjoyed visiting with your father, often at Burge's, and getting to catch up on your whereabouts. Even though he lived such a long and wonderful life, I know that it is still hard. Frank

We have so many good memories of our time spent with Mr. Roy on the farm. He was truly a southern gentleman. We had so many conversations of times past when he lived in the England area. I know he will be missed very much by his family. He loved all of you so very much.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

Mr. Roy was a true friend in life and our farming business through the years. Mr. Roy and Mrs. Bea were so proud of their farm. He was still quite sharp the last time we visited him.
We treasured his hand written Christmas cards. He was such a kind and caring man. He always asked about our ?whole? family on our visits. We will miss him. Prayers for your family
at this difficukt time. With love, Tommy and Susan Adams and family.
