I first met Patrick while working at UALR Computing Services and during work on my information technology coursework. He was always so helpful and willing to assist with anything anyone needed. Although he was knowledgeable about all things related to computers, he was never selfish with that knowledge. He truly believed in sharing the knowledge with others in any way he could. He was my professional mentor and dear friend for many years. My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to the Pearce family!

Pat was a friend and colleague. When I heard he had passed today it was a shock. I worked with Pat at UALR and he was one of my go to people for Tech support. Pat never seemed to stress over anything, with his get-it-done attitude. He loved fixing things, or working on something. He was fun and usually had a joke, which he delivered with a straight face. If you needed information about technology, you could always rely on Pat and Teri to handle it.
I will miss him. Pat may have embarked on another of life?s journeys he will always live on in your hearts. I will keep the Pearce family in my prayers, and pray that God will give your family the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Went to high school with Pat and worked with him the past 4 or 5 years on our Hall High School reunion committee. He selflessly maintained the reunion webpage for many years. We will miss you Pat. Our condolences to his family and friends.

Pat was my mentor and a dear friend. When I learned of his passing today, I spoke about him to a friend of mine in the office. I shared how he mentored me at UALR and how much I learned from him. Her response was ?well he must be pretty darn smart, b/c you are one of the smartest people I know?. Pat was smart and a life-time learner who was always learning something new for fun. (Things that most of us do not consider ?fun?; such as, programming languages, real-estate, multiple college degrees, etc. :) With his wealth of knowledge, he was always available to help anyone in need.
I wish I had taken the opportunity to tell him how much he was loved and respected, and how much of an impact he had on my life. He loved his family and for many years, I saw the joy in his eyes when he spoke about his sons and grandson. He sure did love being a Papa and could never get enough of Lathan. Pat was one of the good guys. He will be missed.
I pray for peace and comfort that only God can provide to his family.
