We were truly saddened to hear of Dr. Schulz's passing. We admired him for his dedication to his work with children and families. He and his family were more than just neighbors, they were special friends and special people. We cheered together for our girls as they learned to play soccer. They were happy and caring people who easily passed this on to others. Later, we would see them on their walks in Hillcrest. He and Margaret and their family will forever be in our prayers.

Dr. Shultz was the pediatrician for our Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment team at Arkansas CARES for several years. He put parents and children at ease with his smile, laugh, and easy way of explaining developmental strengths and needs in everyday language. He never missed a teachable moment. I was privileged to among the many staff, students, and families who learned from him. He will be missed.

Eldon was such a magnetic force in his world. He made me feel engaged and real and like a contributor with the natural positive regard he exuded. It took just minutes of being around him that I felt good and hopeful. All my love to his family and friends who will feel his absence greatly.
