Biography: Allyson Stotts Lamb born in Little Rock, Arkansas, suddenly passed away on April 26 at Arkansas Heart Hospital. Allyson was a devoted daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend but most importantly, she was a loving mother to her precious daughters, Melanie and Lauren. Allyson attended school in Arkansas all her life, from First Christian through Pulaski Academy where she was voted most witty and was always quick with a come back. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she was a Phi Mu and after graduation went on to become a sales rep for Eli Lilly & Company where she had a long and successful career until retirement. Allyson was the first non-pharmacist sales rep Lilly hired and she proved her worth and went on to become National Rookie of the Year and won Number One Sales Rep many times. While rewards and recognization were great, her true calling was being there for her two daughters, who were the lights of her life, and helping her parents in their retirement years. Family was more important than anything and she gave up a lot to put them first. She was generous, compassionate and loved deeply by all who were blessed to know her. Her quick wit and sense of humor will forever keep a smile in our hearts. Allyson was preceded in death by her grandparents and is survived by her daughters Melanie Pickering( Charleston, SC), Lauren Pickering (Charleston, SC), her beloved husband Todd, her parents Dr. John and Carolyn Stotts, sister Leslie Layton (Rick), brother Chris Stotts (Pamela), niece Hope Layton and nephews John Stotts, Grant Jenkins and Addison Bunch. A celebration of Allyson?s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212 with a reception following at 2:00 p.m. at St. James . Memorials may be made to St. James.

Dr. and Mrs. Stotts, Leslie and Chris,
My sister just called to tell me of Allyson's passing. I'm so sorry. I am heartbroken. Allyson was and has been one of the greatest friends of my life. I have cherished her so much through the years and keep so many memories and smile thinking of her. In fact she is the passcode on a lot of my accounts. Guess I'll have to change that now that I've told everyone. .... lol. You guys were like my family growing up. I remember one time Allyson hit me in my nose and I called her Mom to tell on her. We didn't get to play for a week. I cried the whole week because I missed her so much. I never told on her for bossing me ever again. I love her so much. I am so sorry I don't know her husband and Lauren and Melanie. I have 2 girls also and my youngest is also Lauren. To Lauren and Melanie , your mother was my very best friend as a child. We were inseparable. She taught me to be strong and value myself in ways no one else could. We would stay up all night talking and telling ghost stories. We stayed in trouble a lot.... My heart breaks for you all. Please know you have the most beautiful daughter(Love to you Dr Stotts and Carolyn), Sister (Love to you Leslie), brother (All my love, Chris), Mother, wife and friend anyone human has ever known. She is Love and I will carry my precious Allyson with me forever.

We are so sorry for your loss. Allyson was such a funny and witty person. She taught me so much about the pharmaceutical industry when I first stated with Lilly. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word. I pray your happy memories provide you comfort and peace during this very difficult time and beyond.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this beautiful soul. We met Allyson when Lauren and Ryann were Hope Ball participants. She was the kindest, most sincere person I've ever met. Even after high school she made sure to reach out to our family. She and her family have been a blessing to us. The Lamb family will be in our continuous prayers. We love you.
