Biography: Katherine Foreman Satterfield, 98, of Conway passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born January 22, 1920 in England, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, M.M. "Bush" Satterfield, Sr. and two daughters, Joyce Satterfield and Joan Stewart. Katherine is survived by a son, M.M. "Twig" Satterfield, Jr.; two daughters, Jane Wilson and Kay Tyler (Larry); one brother, William Foreman; eight grandchildren, Mary Katherine Clark (John), Jan Clark, Marshall Stewart (Chris), Joyce Gibbs (Monte), Darby Wallace (Bentley), Lindsey Estes (Brett), Branch Satterfield (Carrie), and Mary Margaret Satterfield; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Mike Ulasewich. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to First Presbyterian Church, 2400 Prince St., Conway, AR 72032.

Sorry to hear about Katherine. My mom(Blanche Morden) was named after her mother. Mom was sad to hear about her too.

I had the pleasure of knowing Katherine both as a student at A.S.T.C. in the fifties and as a friend a few years ago. She was a special person.

A true lady, always happy to see us, and ready with a story. Her cards always came on time spreading birthday cheer. Katherine will be missed, but she definitely left the world a brighter place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
