I thank God that I had the AWESOME opportunity to know Lisa, work with her in MICU & eICU, talk with her, laugh with her, cry with her, love her & call her my friend. She will always be my "YMCA" buddy. She has made such a mark on my life. There is not a single day that goes by that I dont think about you in some way or takl about you. My earthly heart is broken! I miss her so much. But my heavenly heart rejoices in the peace she has today & forever! She isnt sick, Sad, or hurting now! She is soaking in every inch of Glory! She has seen the face of our Savior! She better be loving on my little Cody too! Lisa... I love you...I miss you... and I will see you again soon!

Lisa was my preceptor at Baptist, and I can't think of a finer nurse or person. She taught me more about leadership and being an adult than my own parents. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you. The Mills family

My family has known Lisa for many years but had lost touch with her; however, when my mother was admitted to the ICU at Baptist three years ago, God placed her there to be one of the nurses to watch over her. Lisa was a gentle and loving comfort not only to my mother but to my whole family. We will be ever grateful. Our prayers and thoughts go out to all who feel the loss of Lisa's passing.

My heart breaks for all of you. I loved Lisa as a sister. I have many sweet memories of us growing up together. The world has lost an angel here on earth, but she will be joining so many that have gone before her, and will welcome her into Heaven's Gates. May God wrap his arms around all who are greiving, and carry those who that need him most. Love, Your Cousin

Deepest Sympathy to the Wilson Family:

My family and I have known Lisa for years. After a period of losing contact, I saw Lisa last year at Park Plaza. We visited then and talked once a few months later via phone. I was to let her know about my new grandbaby being born in June.

Lisa was a sweet and wonderful spirit to know and I am quite shocked & deeply saddened today to learn of her death.

Sincerely,

Cathy Stamps Alley

Our profession has lost a truly great nurse and friend. She was kind and generous in spirit. Always willing to help her peers and had a encouraging word for all. I will miss her as will many others throughout the Baptist Health ICU community and futher. May God bless her and her family and those of us who hearts are sadden by her death.

I worked with Lisa when she first graduated nursing school and worked in MICU. I saw her periodically in passing in the halls of Baptist. Such a lovely person. My heart goes out to her husband and family, on this earth, as she is now in a place of eternal peace. She was such a lovely lady and one of the most faboulous nurses I have ever known. Nadine

Lisa was my preceptor when I started working at Baptist. We quickly became friends and she was one of my favorite people. She was a true angel of mercy to her pts. and all her coworkers adored her. She was an example to us all. She will be missed. Lisa loved angels and everytime I see one in a store or catalog I always think of her and I will think of her now as being one of God's angels. You will be in my daily prayers.

Lisa made a lasting impression in the short (approximately two year) period I have known her.
She always conducted herself very professionally. Her dedication and competence as a nurse, her concern for her patients, her kindness towards her co-workers and her bright smile will be deeply missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

I worked with Lisa at MICU. She was truly a professional health care giver in every sense of the term. She was kind, considerate, humble, and shared her expertise with anyone who asked. I will miss her.

My prayer for those left behind is from Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit."
