Biography: Charles Walter Daniels (?Chuck?) died Monday, April 9, 2018 in Little Rock, AR. Chuck was born October 2, 1951 in Memphis, TN to Betty Jean Coleman Daniels and Walter E. Daniels, Jr. He spent his first eight years on the Redbud Plantation in Mississippi County, home of his maternal grandparents, Doris and Charlie Coleman. After stints in Memphis and Jackson, MS, the family moved to Little Rock, home of his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Walter Daniels. He graduated from Hall High School. He attended Westminster College and was a Sigma Chi, following in the family tradition. Growing up in Mississippi County, he had great adventures as a boy, including hunting, fishing, and spending time at OK Hunting Club founded by his grandfather. As a young man, he discovered golf, the beloved sport of his father and grandfather. Those who knew Chuck were very aware of his passion for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys, and his love of traveling to historical landmarks in the United States as well as exploring internationally. Chuck knew what being a Razorback was all about, and he was more than happy to share it with you. One of his joys was playing trivia and ranking nationally and individually with his group of good friends. On May 28, 1977 he married the love of his life, Nancy Magie Daniels. During forty years of marriage Chuck and Nancy raised four children and one beloved bonus child. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Bett and Mole Daniels, his grandparents, Doris and Charlie Coleman, and Ruth and Walter Daniels. Chuck is survived by his children, Charles Walter Daniels II, Christopher Hugh Daniels (Chelsey), William Rose Daniels, Sydney Coleman Daniels, and Jason Michael Owens of Little Rock, AR and Colorado Springs, CO. He had eight grandchildren, Kayla Daniels, Kayson Daniels (Ashley Daniels), Hunter Daniels, Autumn Cunningham, Maddox Daniels, Oakleigh Daniels, Evelyn Daniels, and Stella Daniels. Chuck is also survived by a sister, Dana Daniels Nixon (Wally) and brother, Cole Daniels (Sandy) and two nieces, Abigail and Ashlynn, beloved aunts, uncle and numerous cousins. A celebration of Chuck?s life will be held on Friday, April 13, 1:00 p.m. at St. Margaret?s Episcopal Church, 20900 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72223 with Rev. Mary Vano officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CARTI, The First Tee of Central Arkansas, or St. Margaret?s Building Fund.
