Biography: Eugene Wood, ?Woody?, Flucht, 65, of Little Rock passed away February 23, 2018. He was born December 28, 1952 in Little Rock to Judith Villereal Flucht and Elmer Flucht. Woody was an avid duck hunter and loved fishing. He graduated from Catholic High School and UACCM at Morrilton with a bachelor?s degree in petroleum technology. Woody is survived by his father Elmer Flucht and his nephew Charlie Roberts. He is preceded in death by his mother Judith Villereal Boaz, his sisters Gwyne Flucht Beadford and Sara Flucht. A private inurnment will be held at St. Mark?s Episcopal Church in Little Rock. A gathering of friends will be held Wednesday March 14, 2018 at the Heights Corner Market Event Room, 5018 Kavanaugh Blvd between 5 and 7 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the Wolfe Street Foundation, 1015 S. Louisiana St, Little Rock AR 72202. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

Woody was good person of great strength in many ways. Mentally tough, I greatly admired his self preservation. I?m regretful that Woody had to be the the reflection of
some of the nastier behaviors of our society. But in his own way he endured. What a guy. He will be missed, he was loved.
