Biography: Margaret Nell Fraser Tyler, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on March 3, 2018. She was born on November 13, 1942, the daughter of James Hubbard Fraser and Mabel Claire Vail Fraser. Those who knew her would all agree that she was a beautiful person both inside and out with a radiant glowing personality, a wonderful sense of humor, a positive outlook on life and the best smile ever. Margaret was smart and talented and from an early age she was involved in Ballroom, Tap, and Ballet Dancing, piano, voice, speech/ drama and singing in her church choir. She attended Little Rock Central High School and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. While at Central she was a member of the A cappella Choir and played a major role in the senior play. From grade school on she was on the Honor Roll, Beta Club, Junior National Honor Society, National Honor Society and while at the University of Arkansas was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. In 1961, Margaret married the love of her life and soul mate, James H. Tyler of Little Rock. They did everything together; cooking, camping, fishing, walking through the woods, enjoying friends and being with their daughter Sheri and their nieces and nephews who lovingly called her Aunt Mappie. Margaret and Jim?s favorite thing was dancing and they went often until she became ill. Their last dance together was on October 29, 2005. They were married for fifty-six years and loved each other just as much at fifty-six years as the day they were married. Margaret was selfless in her devotion to her parents and family, helping them in any way possible and tending to her father and mother for many years. They both said she was an angel. Unfortunately Margaret was forced to fight through several disabling illnesses and like the person she was, fought with bravery and courage, never complaining and never lost her laugh and beautiful smile. Margaret was an inspiration to us all and will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hubbard Fraser; mother, Mabel Claire Vail Fraser and brother, Dr. James H. Fraser. She is survived by her husband, James H. Tyler of Little Rock; daughter, Sheri Ann Kennedy of Tacoma, WA and sister, Jamie McLain of Conway; nephews, Scott A. Fraser (Hanna) of Bella Vista; Roy S. Kirkpatrick (Tami) Springdale; nieces, Melissa Carter (Michael) of Conway; Kristi Staley (Justin) of Little Rock; Paige Hadfield (Charlie) of Little Rock. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m.,Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 20900 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72223 with a burial immediately following the church service at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander. Memorials may be made to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 20900 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72223. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

Unfortunately, we were not blessed to have met Margaret in person. However, we did end up meeting a part of her through our good friend and her beloved daughter Sheri, who shares many of her mom's lovely attributes. May God bless Margaret and our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Sheri, her father and the whole family.

My condolences to Jamie Claire and all of Margaret's family. I knew all of the Frasers from elementary through high school. My mother knew Mrs. Fraser through PTA. Margaret was always so sweet to everyone. I know she will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.

I knew Margaret at Central. She was truly one of the sweetest girls and always had a special hello.
I know her last years have been extremely hard for she and James. What a testament to the love of husband and wife...I pray the family is feeling the loving, comforting arms of Jesus at this time and in the weeks and years to come.

We met 1st day of 1st grade--many yrs ago--never close friends but always friendly thru the years @ Central. I think 'attitude' was key with her-always(when I knew her) had a smile for all.
My wife(Raynelle Hayes Haddox-same class @ Central) send our Condolences for the family. Unfortunately the Central Class of 1960 is 'fading away'.(A very Special Class)
