Biography: Richard Mizell Finch departed for his final destination on February 25, 2018.He was born May 20, 1929 to Carl Mizell Finch and Lillian Castleberry Finch in Arkadelphia, AR. He was a loving father to his four daughters, Rebecca Finch, Julie Fullerton, Lisa Dearborn and Laura Gregorie. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Dylan Dearborn, Nathan Dearborn, Jason Fullerton and Natalie Fullerton; 3 great-grandchildren, Layla, Lucy and Seth Dearborn. Dick was a 32nd degree Mason and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. He wore many hats throughout his life including managing a family business, raising cattle and developing real estate. He loved to travel and welcomed new experiences, yet his greatest passion was hunting and fishing. He was never happier than in the woods calling ducks. He was a strong and wise man whose love of life was complimented by a unique sense of humor. His non-judgmental approach and sense of fairness resulted in a profound respect by all who knew him. Yet, he would tell you his greatest achievement was his daughters. The imparted wisdom, priceless experience and unconditional love he bestowed on his girls will endure forever. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to his loving caregiver Mary Jenkins; also to Arkansas Hospice and his granddog Leo. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park on Friday, March 2 at 11 a.m.

Dick will be missed by all who knew him. I loved the times I Visited your dad, I enjoyed hearing stories about his life but especially how he talked about his daughters and his love for each of you. I admired how he took care of Sylvia, overall I would say he was loyal, loving and family came first. I'll miss him and grateful that I knew him. Love to the family. BJ Himes
