Biography: Arthur Karlin, 78, died January 25, 2018 after a short illness, with his wife at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents and two cousins. He leaves his wife in Pine Bluff, AR, a sister in West Palm Beach, and cousins in California, Virginia, Georgia, New York and Boca Raton behind. All his life he was an educator imparting his knowledge unstintingly to his students. He taught accounting and taxation at UAPB in Pine Bluff, AR for almost 21 years. His BA was from NYU, PhD from the University of Illinois, law degree from University of Akron, and advanced law degree from NYU again. Ruebel Funeral Home will arrange the transfer of his body from Little Rock to DeVol Funeral Home in Washington D.C. where he will be buried in Rock Creek Cemetery.
