Carl, and family,

I am so saddened to see that Betty has passed. We stayed in contact for the past 4 decades with calls and Christmas cards. Bill and I last saw her in April, 2011 on our way through LR. We had a very nice o/n visit with her during a power outage. Your mom, and dad, got me through some tough times as a newly divorced mother working at NCTR--late 70's. We sure had some fun times together. I worried when I couldn't contact her this Christmas. She was a special friend to me. So sorry for your loss.

I would like to offer my condolences to Betty's family. I worked with Betty in the Pathology department for many years. She was such a delight to be around. She was one of my favorites, and I have always remembered her with fondness. I loved her British accent!

May God bless Betty and her family.

Betty had great influence on my life. First as my teacher and as a friend and mentor. She will always hold a place in my heart. To Carl and Winter I hope you find peace and comfort in your memories. This life is but a passageway to our reward. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you." John 14:27

I offer my sincere condolence to the family. Death is an enemy to us all(1 Cor. 15:26) May the fond memories shared over the years bring warmth to your hearts. Please know that the God of comfort is near to those crushed in spirit. Draw close to him and he will draw close to you (James 4:8)
Psalm 34:18 Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.
