Biography: Patricia Lee Stephens, of Little Rock, died April 9, 2007. She was born on May 11, 1935 in Little Rock the only daughter of Smith M Lee and Odette Jenkins. She graduated in 1952 from Little Rock High School, attended Hendrix College and received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Southwest Missouri State University. Mrs. Stephens was member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild, Flower Guild, as a lay reader and Lay Eucharistic Minister. Preceding her death were her parent’s and her husband, Marion L. Stephens Jr. and son, William M. Helms Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Helms Piwonka and her husband Max of Memphis; Lee Anne Helms; step son M. Lee Stephens III and his wife Tiffany; and seven grandchildren, Beth, Trey and Ben Helms and Emily, Megan, and Mallory Piwonka, and Beau Stephens. Her special friends, Lynda Campbell, Jo Ann Hurley, and Barbara Clark also survive her. A memorial service will be held at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with The Rev. Peggy Bosmeyer officiating. A committal service will be at 10:30, Thursday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
