Biography: Greg Finch, 56, of Little Rock died Sept. 6, 2017. He was born in Little Rock Sept. 28, 1960, and is survived by his father Curtis Finch, Jr., and his sister, Leslie Finch (Romy Benton) of Portland, Oregon. He was predeceased by his mother, Louise Porter Finch. Greg graduated from Catholic High School in Little Rock in 1979, attended the U of A Fayetteville, SMU and graduated from UALR. He worked for a commodity broker in Chicago and as a fishing guide in Florida before moving to Wyoming. Health problems caused him to retire early, and he had lived in Little Rock the past several years. Greg developed many friendships over the years and never met a stranger. He was an avid fisherman and loved cars and animals, especially his dogs and birds. A memorial service will be announced later by Ruebel Funeral Home. The family will be at 4916 Hawthorne Rd. Tuesday, Sept.12, from 4 to 6 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

I can't begin to recount all of the great times Greg and i shared growing up.. from pool games in the basement on Evergreen, to countless hours of fishing, swimming, and hiking out at the Lodge. We were close as brothers for many years, before we both drifted off in different directions. Rest in peace my cousin and friend.
