Biography: Kathleen L. Murphy 50, passed away in Little Rock September 3, 2017. Born in Boston, MA, Kathy had lived in Little Rock for the past 40 years. An avid dog lover and gardener Kathy was also a certified coder for UAMS where she worked for over 25 years. She is survived by her two sons Andrew Hyde II & Sean Murphy. Her grandson Artius Hyde Along with her parents Dr. Ernest & Alice Ferris, her sister Susan Ferris and her two brothers Paul & Donald Ferris, and two nephews Joseph & Preston Ferris. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in Kathleen's name.

We wanted to share our condolences with Kathy?s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

Kathy was such a giving person. You will be missed! Every time i see a tiny dog i will think of you. Every time i see a border collie, i will think of you. Thank you for Blue, the barbie birthday cake you brought me to the office, sending Andrew for coffee runs, going to get our nails done, eating lunch at Tazikis, sending me chocolates after my surgery, coming to my wedding... i will not forget these memories.
