Biography: Yvonne Ethel (Sutton) Baker, 89, died 27 August, 2017, Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born 28 March, 1928 to Ethel (Shaffer) and Harry Ellis Sutton in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Yvonne lived mostly in Florida and Arkansas, retiring in 1993 from the Alachua County Sheriff's Office in Gainesville, Florida. She is survived by three daughters, whom she had with former husband, J. Dan Baker; Danette Haley, Darlene Baker and Diana Ashley of Little Rock and granddaughters Anne Haley and Colleen Haley. Service will be 8 September at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church Little Rock. Preferred memorials are gifts to North Little Rock Animal Shelter at 1 Championship Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.

My Beloved Aunt who showed me how to have fun and be adventurous will be so greatly missed. She was one of a kind. She welcomed us into her home and was ready to show you the town on a moments notice. She always had a smile for me and my family and usually always had some compliments too. I was blessed to have the influence in my life. Love to her daughters and their families and wishing you peace and comfort now. Love you.

My heartfelt condolences. I LOVED Yvonne. She was a special friend. I will truly miss her. I so thankful that my path crossed with her. Thank you Darlene, Diana and Danette for letting me be part of you b through her.
