Biography: Danaea Marie Cheuvront, age 19, of Little Rock, died April 5, 2007. She was born in Matteson, Illinois, on April 25, 1987. Danaea loved the Lord and was active at Fellowship Bible Church. Wherever she went she touched the lives of those around her – especially children. Her passion was children and their education – this was reflected in her being an active volunteer with Fellowship Kids at Fellowship Bible Church, then at Pulaski Academy where she taught four-year-olds. She was in her Junior year of studies in Early Childhood Education at Lee University near Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was also active in the Student Leadership Council and Kappa Pi Delta. Survivors include her parents, Roger and Terrie Cheuvront, her sister, Loren Cheuvront, and paternal grandparents Maynard and JoAnn Cheuvront, all of Little Rock; her maternal grandparents, Dick and Midge Bussing of Montrose, Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Ruebel Funeral Home. Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Special Events Center at Fellowship Bible Church officiated by Pastors Tim Lundy and David Bruns. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Fellowship Kids, Fellowship Bible Church, 1901 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, 72212. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home of Little Rock. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Roger, Terrie and Loren- Our Lord called Danae home very quickly, but what a joy it has been to have shared our lives. She reminded me of a flower bud opening as I saw her mature and find her path. She radiated in the last couple of years when I would see her. What a lovely young lady she had become. I am praying that He will give you peace beyond measure as He sustains you, and am asking that sweet memories will flow over you as we all grieve.

Our hearts physically ached when we heard the news about Danaea. I know we only have a glimmer of understanding of what you are walking through. Please know as God is often bringing you to mind we are crying out on your behalf that He gives you the comfort and peace He promises.

Know we care and we will continue to pray as God brings you to mind... which truthfully is often... everytime our almost 17 year old son gets in the car... you are prayed for.

Lots of love and prayers... Matt and Jen

Roger, Terrie and Loren, We are so sad for your loss, yet we rejoice with you at the legacy Danaea leaves here and the joy she now experiences. We never knew her well, but whenever we met her she was smiling and quietly serving with excellence. May the God of all comfort be very real to you and give you many opportunities to testify to the love of Christ lived out in Danaea.

Terri, Roger, and Loren,
The service today was a celebration of a life lived well. Although I did not know Danaea well, she was always a familiar face when we frequented Java. From what I could see and what I heard you must be very pleased with who she became and rest in knowing she is in our Savior's arms right now. God bless all of you as you mourn the loss of your precious one.

Roger, Terrie and Loren,

I am so saddened to hear about Danaea. I will always remember her contagious smile and what a pleasure it was to spend that weekend with her and Loren while you were gone to a Getaway. She and Loren got me hooked on watching ice skating during the olympics that year! I know she will be sorely missed, but take comfort in knowing that she was a blessing to every life she touched! I am praying for you all.

Love you!

Dear Roger and Terrie,

Words can't express my sorrow for you and your family. I felt very close to Danaea as I worked with her in leading the children in FSK on Sundays during her senior year. She had such a love for the kids and it clearly filled her with joy to teach them. In our class, she especially excelled in dreaming up creative crafts that tied into our bible lessons. We had the coolest crafts in FSK! Her loving, tender heart and obvious love for her Lord and for teaching children are unforgettable to me.

Ever since I heard of the accident, I have been praying regularly for you both. I'm praying that God will give you His strength, that He will give you His supernatural peace, that He will comfort you with His supernatural comfort, that He will heal your broken hearts, and that He will give you the assurance that we will see Danaea's smiling face in heaven one day. In the devastation of today, we can find hope that we will be rejoined with her in heaven for eternity.

Love to you both, Mary Carol

We are so so sad for the loss of precious Danaea, She was such a wonderful girl and we have so admired the closeness of your family. You worked hard together and loved being with each other through support raising and ministry. What a wonderful example of a christian home. We are praying that the Lord Jesus Christ will meet you in this tragedy and know that Danaea's life will reap fruit in the lives of those she has touched for eternity. May God bless and keep you.

Roger and Terrie, it will be hard to express how bad I feel at the loss you have suffered. I remember watching Danaea growing up at Grace and in the Awana program. She was one of the kids I really remembered, her wonderful spirit and attitude. Like a pretty little colt I thought. Then as I saw her growing into a young lady at the coffee shop I was happy to see that spirit intact. You have both been in our thoughts and prayers since we heard about this - both at Fellowship and from home school connections. I wish I could be at the service but I will be in Atlanta on business. Know that you will be in my prayers. Why do we have to lose the good ones it seems? For Danaea at least, we know that she is in good hands, it's just so hard on us here. Roger, if there is anything I can do or help you with let me know.

We are deeply saddened by Danaea's passing from this
earth, yet we rejoice knowing she is with our Savior. Her heart of service was evident in all she did. Chad enjoyed working with her at Java and Josiah enjoyed seeing her on a weekly basis. Her enjoyment of Josiah was a special blessing to this mother's heart.

Rodger and Terri,
I got the privilige to sub. one Sunday with Danaea. What a surprising delight! My daughter looked forward to coming to class because of the art projects. I was impressed by her maturity and a love for children. We are also a homeschool family (two girls 7 and 12yrs). It is always comforting and confirming to meet an older homeschooler and can see how yours might turn out. My heart breaks for you but even though I don't understand I know God's plan is greater than what we can understand. We will keep you in our prayers. God Bless

Danaea-
I remember going to Sunday School with you and how intently you listened to everything that was taught to us. You definitely lived out what the Christian walk is supposed to look like. You have influenced so many people. I'll see you in Heaven...until then say Hi to God for me.

Danaea will be missed here at Lee in a way that words cannot express. Her impact on the lives of students and professors alike (such as myself) will be long remembered. The announcement of this tragedy is difficult to process for me and I cannot even imagine how it is so for her family.
My family and I pray for your comforting that God does provide. May God bless and comfort your family at this time.

What a wonderful woman of God Danaea was. I'm so thankful I had the priviledge of knowing her and working with her at church. She always had a smile on her face and was truly real with everyone she came into contact with, which is a quality I admired in her. I will truly miss this special young woman. My heart and prayers go out to you, her family, for your great loss.

I want to let you know that your family is in my prayers. I was fortunate to have worked with Danaea for several summers. She had been volunteering at PA when I became the Director of Summer at the Academy. She had just graduated high school & we generally didn't hire students unless they had completed one year of college... but Danaea was an exception! Her sense of responsibility and desire to work with kids set her apart. I'm thankful for her life and will miss her.
