Biography: LITTLE ROCK ? Donald Dupree (?Don?) Blair, 75, born March 9, 1941, in Union, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home and surrounded by his loving family on February 7, 2017. Don lived a full life devoted to his faith and family, and was adored by everyone who had ever met him. Always a smile on his face, Don was humble, honest and caring towards others. He was the consummate southern gentleman and a man of the finest character and integrity. He was dedicated and devoted to his family, which always came first and above all else. A graduate from the University of South Carolina and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, Don excelled at sports particularly baseball and football. You could always count on seeing Don at every practice and every game played by his son and his three grandsons. He was happiest when he could be standing on a sideline and passionately cheering on the boys. Don adored ?his boys? with every ounce of his heart. In addition to passing down invaluable guidance and steadfast support to his boys in their many sporting adventures, he also showed them unconditional love in all aspects of their lives. Don was a proud member and usher at St. James United Methodist church. He was also a member of the Arkansas Home Furnishings association since 1983 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2013. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Linda Blair; his son, Beau Blair and his wife Lauren; three grandchildren, Phillips Dupree Blair, Beckett Tribou Blair and Barclay Snowden Blair; and two sisters, Carolyn Belue and Sandra West. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Francis and Roy Blair. A memorial service will be held at St. James United Methodist Church (321 Pleasant Valley Dr, Little Rock, AR 72212) on Monday the thirteenth of February at 11:00am. A reception in the Great Hall will follow the service.
