Biography: Hunter Preston Stuart of Little Rock passed away last week due to natural causes while on a vacation in Miramar Beach, Florida. Born and raised in Little Rock, Hunter attended Pulaski Academy and later Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. But no matter where he was, no matter what he was doing - cheering on his beloved Razorbacks, picking winners at the Arkansas Derby, or playing with his dog Romer - Hunter had a smile on his face and a joke at the ready. Hunter had a passion for life, laughter, and people, and after college that passion brought him back home to work alongside his father, Layton ?Scooter? Stuart, who passed away in 2013. Hunter is survived by his mother, Tommye, and sister, Kirby, and mourned by them and everyone who was lucky enough to cross his path. Friends, family and loved ones are encouraged to gather at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St. on Wednesday, February 8th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m to celebrate the life and times of this one of a kind son, brother and friend. Memorials can be made to his beloved high school, Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Rd, Little Rock, AR 72212. Donations can be made online at; https://giving.veracross.com/pa/hunter Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com

Tommye I don't even know where to start. I just found out about Hunter passing away and was shocked. I did not know him but didn't have to because of you. You have always had a special place in my heart because of the way you treated me. You are one of the kindest people I have ever known. People don't usually know how they touch other people. I know there is nothing but God who can get you through this. Maybe God can comfort you enough to go on. Jimmy and I have been praying for you and Kirby. With all our love...Margurette & Jimmy

Bill and I didn't hear about Hunter until Thursday night, when Martha Clark came to our house for a book club meeting. We are so sorry that we didn't get the chance to hug you Wednesday night and let you know that we are broken-hearted for you. We are thinking about you and sending up prayers for your comfort. No one should have to experience the pain that you are living with. Love you.

Tommye and Kirby: I am deeply saddened over Hunter's death. It is just not supposed to happen this way.
I remember our days together at St. Mark's and then later at Pulaski Academy. Once when he came over to play with Jonathan (they were attending St. Mark's then), he read the phone book to us! Smiling through tears...
I continue to hold you close.
Peace.

I am so sorry not just for Tommye and Kirby, but for the whole world to now be without Hunter. The world is less bright without HMan. We will miss him forever. Thank you for all the great memories, Hunter.

We did not know Hunter, but we regret the sorrow you feel - we grieved the loss of a 21 year old son. We can tell you that as time passes you will be able to remember more of the good times and dwell less on the loss of Hunter. We found that each person grieves in a different way and at different times, so we encourage each of you to allow for those differences in your family.
We are of the Christian faith and even in our pain we came to understand that God is still sovereign. May you find comfort as you walk through this ?valley of the shadow of death? and may friends share their good memories of Hunter with you.
