Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family and to her many friends, among which I proudly count myself - at least that is how she made me feel. I pray that I can live out my life with even half of the charisma with which she carried herself.
Kindhearted, encouraging, and always smiling are but a few of the attributes that I will forever remember when reflecting upon my interactions with this precious lady, my friend.

I am so sorry to learn of Betty's passing. She was a wonderful lady who was so kind to me as a newly practicing SLP 20 years ago. She patiently answered questions and provided additional information that I hadn't even considered on more than one occasion. We were so blessed to have her! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this sorrowful time.

I had the pleasure of working with Betty for 20 yrs at FFIC. I hadn't seen her since 1995 & ran in to her in the parking lot at physical therapy about a year ago. We enjoyed catching up for a bit & she never mentioned what she had been going through. My prayers are with her family as I know she will truly be missed.

I remember when I first moved to Arkansas from Georgia and was applying for my licensure. Other than my husband and his family/friends, I didn't know anyone. I remember speaking with Betty several times on the phone through ABESPA, and she graciously welcomed me to Arkansas. Each time I called, she remembered who I was and made small talk. It was very comforting to me, since I had left my friends and family and a complete stranger was taking the time to ask how I was doing. I always remembered her for that. I hope her family finds comfort in knowing how kind she was to others and made someone she didn't know feel welcomed.

I didn't know Betty personally, but any time I called and spoke with her over the phone over the last 20 years, she was the most helpful person. I knew I could always count on her to answer a question or take care of a matter professionally. She always made me feel like my call was the most important of the day. I will always remember her kindness. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time.

I only had contact with Mrs. Bass when I had to call ABESPA. She was always kind and helpful. She went the extra mile to help me when I had to re-activate my AR license. It is quite difficult to make that kind of impression over the phone. She struck me as an exceptionally competent and caring person. My thoughts and prayer go out to her family and friends.

She was so knowledgeable and was a great asset to the audiologists and speech pathologists in this state. She would go out of her way to help others. I could go on and on about how wonderful she was. I will miss her so much. I send my prayers to her family. May God give you peace during this time.
