I was privileged to work with Butch as the Chrysler Zone Manager from 1981-1983. In all my twenty plus years with Chrysler he ran one of the best dealerships that I encountered. Not only was he successful but extremely honorable and loyal.Although it has been many years since we had spoken, I will always remember Butch and appreciate his contributions. My condolences to his entire family as I am sure he will be missed.

From the first time I met Butch with Jim Tilley, it was as if I had always known him. He was that kind of person who you immediately liked. After moving away, I always kept up with Butch through Jim and have remembered him throughout the years. Those memories will remain.

We sincerely express our condolences. An institution in the automobile business, Butch worked with Richard for many years in business dealings, and with us both personally. He was the epitome of the most "customer friendly" person to work with us, and we came to know him as a friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sad news. Butch and his family first moved next door to me when they arrived in Jacksonville. All nice folks. He was the only guy in our class who drove a Thunderbird. Made the rest of us guys sick with envy!

Praying for family.
My dad worked for Butch and Chief for many years as their parts manager at LR Dodge, and Butch was always very nice to us when we'd visit. He would always be so generous in donations for my son and his youth group for camp.
